The Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians has proudly owned and operated the Northern Waters Casino Resort in Watersmeet, Michigan for 28 years!
From its humble beginnings as a small bingo hall, the casino has grown into a state-of-the-art entertainment complex that has created additional business and employment opportunities as well as an immeasurable return to its community. The resort features the Dancing Eagles Hotel, the Lac Vieux Desert Golf Course, Sugar Bush Restaurant, Northern Waters Sports Bar and Fanatics Sportsbooks Lounge offering a full line up of entertainment for visitors.
The Tribe opened the Lac Vieux Desert Health Center in 2015, a state-of-the-art medical complex, that has continued growth for almost 10 years. The facility is available to everyone in the Western Upper Peninsula, providing comprehensive family care including urgent care, dental, vision and more.
